須賀神社の階段中腹。ずっと探し続けた誰かに、ようやく出会うことができた二人。お互いその誰かであることを認識し合っているのに、声をかけかけられずすれ違う二人。
階段向こうに見える建物や石積みまで表現されている。
The midslope of the stairs of Suga Shinto shrine. Both Taki-kun and Mitsuta could finally meet someone who kept looking for forever. They recognize each other as the someone else, but they could not say anything and passed each other.

Taki-kun is looking up at Mitsuha at the bottom of the stairs of Suka Shrine.

夜が明ける東京の街。六本木ヒルズのある六本木や東京タワーのある芝を中心に港区を幅広く描いている。恵比寿ガーデンヒルズあたりから見るととこのカットになると思われる。
The dawn breaks and then the sun rinses. The city of Tokyo is minutely drawn. Minato ward can be seen widely such as Roppongi area with symbolic Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Midtown and Shiba area with Tokyo tower.
It seems that this cut will be seen from around Ebisu Garden Hills.

四谷四丁目交差点。こちらも劇中カットと同じ構図になかなかできず苦労した。西向きなので午後になると逆光になってしまう。三回ほどかよって曇りの日にようやく回収。
近くには、新海監督作品言の葉の庭の舞台となった新軸御苑や、瀧くんがバイトしていたカフェ・ラ・ボエムもある。ドコモタワーも見える。
Yotsuya 4 chome intersection.
The intersection is located next to Shinjyuku Gyoen, one of Tokyo's largest and most popular parks, which is real life locations of Makoto Shinkai’s beautiful movie Kotonoha no Niwa or The Garden of Words.
There also is a Italian restaurant Cafe La Bohéme that Taki-kun is working for close to the intersection. NTT DoCoMo tower can be seen.
